Donkey's Ears! @ 18:22

Current Mood: Amused
Current Music: The Kooks keep getting stuck in my head.

It's been forever since I've written here. I've been to England, France, Ireland and am now going back to North Carolina.
I found my blog the other day as I was thinking of blogs and going through my friends blogs.
So... Oh yeah. I saw Indiana Jones 4 a few days ago. I liked it, but, It was not at all what I expected.
They better hurry up and make a 5th one if they want Harrison Ford to be in it.

The other movie I'm excited about is Inkheart. It's about a guy who can "read" characters out of books. He just so happens to "read" my favorite English actor out of one of them. The adorable and hilarious...
...Andy Serkis!!!!

Well, That's all I have to say and The Soup is on so I'm a little distracted anyway.

I guess I'll do another countdown once it gets closer to the NC trip.

21st October 2007

NORTH CAROLINA COUNTDOWN #3! @ 16:14

NORTH CAROLINA COUNTDOWN #3! @ 16:54

Current Location: Living Room
Current Mood: I Need Gatorade
Current Music: Drive On - Johnny Cash

Okay, so this is the second odd number in the NORTH CAROLINA COUNTDOWN series.
And in honor of that I thought I would make this one pretty odd.
So, the theme for this one is.........

JOAQUIN PHOENIX!..... And here's the twist.....
...Are you Ready....

And JOHNNY CASH!!!!!
AND SOMETIMES JOAQUIN PHOENIX AS JOHNNY CASH!!!! lol!

That's about as "country boy" as Joaquin phoenix will probably ever look,
So I decided to put them together like that.
lol! I just realized that the order I posted their pictures in was age before beauty!
Johnny Cash's part in the countdown will mostly be video.
He's loved for his music not his face, So if you have to look at his face he should singing. lol!
Joaquin Phoenix's part in it will be whatever I want it to be.
But, it will probably end up being video as well.

Bye!

2nd October 2007

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!! @ 18:13

Current Location: My Big Green Chair.
Current Mood: EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Current Music: Poison Eye - Chris Cornell

IT FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN YEARS!!!! My computer was broken for a month! I could have lost friends!
Sorry again too all of my friends that felt ignored. It wasn't in my control.
My computer goes through it's mood swings and then out of nowhere it dies.

But, anyway what's new with everyone who never comments on LJ. You know who you are.

JOAQUIN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that I can just randomly do that again!!!!!!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH!

SOMEONE HASN'T BEEN DRINKING HIS MILK. @ 03:35

Current Mood: So Sleepy.
Current Music: Firewater - Yellowcard

Okay, I watched Disturbia a few hours ago and who knew that Shia LaBeouf was older than he looks. I told my sister he was older than her and she didn't believe me... well, guess what... he's 21. *shocked face* I think he looks 16.
Except in this pic:
And this one from the next Indiana Jones movie:

It's weird to think that he could grow facial hair.
Anyway... the title of my post does have an explanation. I have a theory that a big part of the reason kids today look older than they are is due to the amount of milk they drink. There are a lot of growth hormones in milk, so the kids are getting the growth hormones that go into the cows that produce the milk they drink. Therefore children mature much faster physically.
Shia LaBeouf must be lactose intolerant.

9th August 2007

TURKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! @ 15:22

Current Mood: Dorky
Current Music: None 'cause the t.v.'s on

I'm not vegan... I do love my chocolate Lactaid.... mmm.... But, I'm not all that into eating meat or killing animals for fun. If you hunt for food that's fine with me. Just use as much of the other parts from the animal as possible when you're done.
Don't waste the life for no good reason. My sister calls me "an aspiring vegetarian."

I am also a fan of Joaquin Phoenix. He is a very good actor and singer and he's really, really ridiculously good looking. lol!

Therefore... I bring you... THIS!

Joaquin Phoenix in a PETA ad

HE'LL "BEAT YOU TO DEATH IN YOUR OWN HOME"... OR AT LEAST CALL YOU ON ICHAT VIDEO @ 19:14

Current Mood: BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!!!!
Current Music: Total Eclipse of The Heart - Bonnie Tyler [It's in the movie]

Interesting story involving Mr. Walter B. A.K.A. Bruce "Bruno" Willis.
He went on Ain't It Cool News.com to talk about Live Free or Die Hard
and ended up talking to someone who didn't believe he was Bruce Willis on iChat video.

[Click on the picture for the story]

I've been watching Moonlighting since I got up and am currently watching Bandits. So I've been seeing a lot of him too. haha!

10th June 2007

WHAT IN THE WORLD! @ 11:41

Current Mood: Amused

This kid is awesome he plays better than On The Soapbox and their friends combined.

And he plays like those musicians that have been doing it for a hundred years.
He's, like, "yeah whatever, film me and get it over with."

5th June 2007

THESE ARE A FEW OF THE NEW SONGS FROM "CARRY ON" THE NEW CHRIS CORNELL CD @ 11:44

Current Mood: I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Current Music: Arms Around Your Love - Chris Cornell

30th May 2007

I SAW A WORLD THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT THE RAIN CAME IN AND RUINED IT ALL @ 16:00

Current Mood: Busy
Current Music: No Such Thing [Acoustic] - Chris Cornell

I didn't have much warning this time. I'm off to N. Carolina tonight. I found out about it yesterday so I didn't have a countdown.

16th May 2007

BEST SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @ 15:20

Current Mood: Okay I guess
Current Music: You Could Be Happy - Snow Patrol

I think that my all time favorite song [since 2004 anyway] would have to be "Spitting Games." I have a lot of songs I "rock out" to... but, I could listen to this song forever.... I could probably listen to any Snow Patrol songs forever... or Audioslave...... or some Death Cab For Cutie or something..... anyway, here's the video.

"SPITTING GAMES"

I'll also put a few others I like.

"YOU'RE ALL I HAVE"

"CHOCOLATE [ACOUSTIC]"

"RUN [ACOUSTIC]"

"WOW [ACOUSTIC]"

"SPITTING GAMES [ACOUSTIC]"
"RUN"

"SET THE FIRE TO THE THIRD BAR" [I CAN PLAY MOST OF THIS ONE]

"HANDS OPEN"
"SIGNAL FIRE" [FROM SPIDER-MAN 3]

"HOW TO BE DEAD"

"CHASING CARS"

I love Gary's voice. When I saw them in concert [I'd have to find my ticket to find out when it was] he was great. He kept making jokes about himself everytime there was a break between songs. He has an awesome accent. He's Irish but he sounds Scottish.
Those are the only songs I can think of to put up at the moment.

1st May 2007

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! @ 15:32

Current Mood: Amused
Current Music: Midnight Choo Choo Reprise - Donald O'Connor & Mitzi Gaynor

This is from There's No Business Like Show Business. It's great!

You have to wait a couple seconds for the good part, but it's worth it.

29th April 2007

"...I'M A NIGHT OWL & AN EARLY BIRD.... SO I'M WISE.... & I HAVE WORMS" @ 15:07

Current Mood: Crazy
Current Music: Take Me Away - Seether

I went to a little graduation celebration for a friend of mine last night. [you know who you are*smile*]
I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! *cheesy grin*

Anyway, I've been wanting an excuse to dress up lately. My friends always had partys like "black & white" partys or this one where we had to come dressed like we were from a different country. I picked Scotland.
Yeah... so I've been wanting to have another one of those partys & I can't think of a reason........

..................

That's all.......

..................

I guess..........

..........BYE!=)

28th April 2007

I MAKE MYSELF LAUGH........ I DON'T THINK THAT'S A GOOD THING @ 15:09

Current Mood: Amused
Current Music: Drown Me Slowly - Audioslave

My friend made this quiz on bebo. So I had to make a profile to see my results.

I make myself laugh.

I really like that username though.

27th April 2007

ANOTHER DAY OF NOTHING @ 17:26

Current Mood: I don't know...
Current Music: I Love A Mystery - Donald O'Connor

My mom said she wanted to plan a trip to Michigan. I'm reallty excited!.... And I'm not sure if I should be.

My sister requested that we have a Donald O'Connor movie marathon. It was great. He's one of my new favorites.
I know nobody has any idea who he is. He played Cosmo Brown in Singin' In The Rain.

Haha! I managed to get Gene Kelly in there twice! Mwahahahahahaha!

26th April 2007

HUH?..... @ 17:50

Current Mood: Lonely
Current Music: S'posin' - Frank Sinatra

I have not been sleeping well...

Why is it that everytime I write on my lj I'm just about to take Stanley for a walk?
Well, He needs it. he's old.

I don't even know what to write about anymore.
I used to just write about my day on here, but I'm becoming much less busy.

Well, I better take Stanley for his walk......

10th April 2007

I'M A MILLION MILES AWAY... @ 15:46

Current Mood: Amused
Current Music: Gene Kelly singing on The Muppet Show

I'm so bored... I can't even think of what to write. I have to take Stanley for a walk, so I'll just leave you with these.

The Dean Martin Show - September 14, 1972 [at 60 Gene Kelly could still dance like he was 20]

26th March 2007

YOUTH TODAY, THEY DON'T KNOW WHO GENE KELLY IS... THEY HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN SINGIN' IN THE RAIN! @ 17:00

Current Mood: Busy. June keeps gettin closer
Current Music: Here [In Your Arms] - Hellogoodbye

[Rocks out to Hellogoodbye] I was listening to this song the last time I posted something here.
The past few months seem to have flown by. It's as if it's all been one day.
I can hardly remember anything I did before yesterday morning. It's a weird feeling.

I've discovered that it would take a lifetime to write a biography of Gene Kelly.
And since he died when I was 6-years-old, I never had a chance to meet him.
The only way to distinguish fact from fiction would be to ask the person you're writing about, right?
But, I said I would tell the cultureless younger generations [I never thought I would be saying that]
who Gene Kelly is, and I'll keep my word.
So I'm just going to throw some things together and hope you get the basic plot.
